About the change made by BrianWilloughby, it seems that Mandolin protocol only applies to the USB connection taking place between the iPad and the DL1608 locally.
The DL series also accepts communication over WiFi between one iPad and multiple DL. As far as we can see, this communication is not using Mandolin protocol. If anybody has the official technical specification from Mackie, this should permit to update the page correctly about the use of RTP-MIDI in the DL products or not.
