Supergroup?
editPuscifer = Tool/A Perfect Circle Member Maynard James Keenan. If you'd clicked the link to what the term 'Supergroup' actually means, Puscifier are classified as one. Supergroup = a band compiled of members who have previously obtained fame in another band. I'm guessing A Perfect Circle are a 'Supergroup' too, for example.
- I agree, but is the amount of creative control important? i was under the impression that Maynard taps people to play on tracks that he's written. am i wrong? Deutschebag17 17:46, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Puscifer isn't really a band, though, as I understand it. It seems more like a Maynard solo project where he taps other musicians, some of them famous in their own right, to lend some talent to various studio tracks. If you considered Puscifer a supergroup, then any kind of collaboration between famous musicians---say, Santana with Rob Thomas on vocals for "Smooth" would qualify. I don't think that any of the guest musicians are really considered Puscifer band members per se. I'm pretty sure Puscifer isn't planning on touring once the album is finished, either. I would say that since the designation as a supergroup is somewhat questionable, the safer bet would simply to leave it out. Guyminuslife 05:58, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
I think it's worth mentioning that a band by the name of Jucifer who's first album debuted in '98 also has a song by the name of Queen B which can be found on their second album (released 2002) "I Name You Destroyer". I find it interesting that Maynard chose to name the first single of Puscifer's upcoming album Queen B. Whether it is a cover, an homage, or a jab is yet to be seen. Yes, Puscifer is a Supergroup. Doesn't matter if it only has one member, other musicians are associated with the ensemble, which makes it a band. Therefore, Puscifer IS a supergroup. Tool-apc (talk) 01:16, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

- Nice interview, but it seems fall short of a reliable source as self-published by a non-expert interviewer ([1]). Skomorokh incite 19:23, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Members
editI think the members section needs to be updated. According to Puscifer's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/censorshipisacancer), the members include "Maynard and a revolving door of talented people. The current list of guest musicians and artists... Mat Mitchell, Tim Alexander, Jonny Polonski, Danny Lohner, Josh Eustis, Gil & Rani Sharone, Lustmord, Laura Milligan, Ainjel Emme, Meats Meier, Evil Joe Baressi, Trey Gunn, Milla Jovovich, Lisa Germano, Tim Cadiente, Ford Englerth, Jeffrey Brooks, Micah, Eddie McClintock, Joe Nagy, Satan's Muse, and more..." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fumbingehmer (talk • contribs) 06:17, January 2, 2009 (UTC)

editWhy was the article for the EP removed? It was completely legitimate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.44.93.253 (talk) 12:52, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Carina Round
editCarina Round was added to the associated acts, yet there's no mentioning in the article to how they're connected, nor does the Carina Round lemma mention anything about it. Was this edit legit? If so, there should be additional information added in some way. --Konsumkind (talk) 16:41, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
- Ah wait... there is a mentioning in the other article... --Konsumkind (talk) 16:45, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
