Fixed stuff

edit

grr, someone decided to eat the formatting for this page. I've fixed it up a bit, the error was in the chart positions section. Seems to be working fine right now Zionyx 13:24, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Song End

edit

The explanation about the end of the song is worded poorly. I'm not sure what the writer is trying to get across here. The song ends on approximately the 2½ beat of the measure. Also, it is in the middle of the quoted sentence ("Oh... that..."). There is nothing to be had here other than they chose a place to simply stop the music - as if someone took scisors to the tape. (Although that is entirely too random for these perfectionists! :) ) I believe that the description on the page needs to be touched up. Thoughts? InnocuousFox 21:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think, except for where the cut takes part, it's all correct on the text. I've heard the track and, yes, it ends on the half of the second bit of that measure. But it doesn't end in the middle of the quoted sentence; each syllable of that sentence is sung in the first beat of a measure, for a total of 10 measures and 10 syllables. Back to the cut thing, I thinking the person who wrote that thought of the tempo as being twice as fast as we, for instance, have considered. In the Full Score Anthology songbook, it is stated that PMU is in 102 BPM, which supports our point of view. Also, I think trying to fit the ending into a time signature is rather inconsistent with trying to explain the reason of using a mid-measure cut. Therefore, I think that last sentence should just be taken off the article. Hetcenus 22:37, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Pull me under single cover.jpg

edit

Image:Pull me under single cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:09, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The image Image:Dream Theater - Images and Words.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

The version in guitar hero world tour

edit

Having listened to all three versions (the original, the version in game and the 2007 remix on "greatest hit"), I can say that the version on guitar hero is not the 2007 remix for two reasons: Firstly the 2007 remix sounds a lot different (much less echoey) and secondly the 2007 remix does end at the same point the original does. 78.146.78.74 (talk) 21:27, 14 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
