Proving ground and training area are not the same?
edit"Training area" and "military training area" redirect here. However, I'm not sure they are the same thing as a "proving ground". My understanding is that a "proving ground" is a place where military ordnance or new technology is tested, whereas a "training area" is, as the name suggests, where troops routinely train or exercise. Unless there is a consensus against, I plan to create a separate "training area" article and split out the trainings areas here from the proving grounds.
