Hello all,
I'm currently embroiled in a debate over the nature and validity of the associative property for natural numbers. In taking a look at the proof provided here, I'm unclear about the steps which cite justification as [A2]. I presume that it refers to Peano's second axiom, though I'm unsure about HOW the axiom justified the step.
Thanks!
