Corrected slogan I am almost certain that the Cott slogan has always been 'It's Cott to be Good,' and not 'It's Cott to be Great' as was stated. I live in Montreal, where the slogan for years featured prominently.Marty55 05:28, 26 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Corrected slogan

The slogan as posted is incorrect. A quick search of the Internet turns up images showing the correct slogan, 'It's Cott to be good. I have corrected it once, but someone insists on having it the wrong way. Marty55 (talk) 20:02, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Suggest full list of soft drink brands under the umbrella of Cott. RafaelRGarcia (talk) 17:38, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps someone can add in a big chunk of history that's missing, that being the Cott Beverage Corp. of New Haven, CT that predated the Canadian company. I can find isolated references back at least to the 1940s, but no real history. The Cotts were a New Haven family. I'm getting the impression that Canadian Cott originally existed to distribute New England Cott and eventually grew to take it over. Maybe someone can elaborate. Bluemuse is likely correct. Certainly, Cott beverages were plentiful throughout New England long before the 70's date referenced in the article. They were a staple in my home in the early 50s and the store in which I worked as a young teen starting in 1960 sold them. Cott's Extra Dry Ginger Ale was famous for the incredible level of carbonation that leaped out at you once poured into the glass.Irish Melkite (talk) 21:09, 28 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

In looking at the company website, I'm wondering if we are talking about 2 different companies entirely.Irish Melkite (talk) 21:12, 28 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
