Indicscript
editDaxServer there are many pages in wikipedia who are using indic scripts, indic scripts can be used where there is not confusion with other names, for example, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Beijing Railway Station. Uttarpradeshi (talk) 11:15, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Uttarpradeshi Thanks for pointing out the Government of Madhya Pradesh. I've removed it per WP:NOINDICSCRIPTS, which doesn't allow adding indic scripts, unless the articles are about the languages themselves. If you notice any other Indian article using an Indic script, please remove them. — DaxServer (talk to me) 11:20, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- @DaxServer What about Beijing Railway Station? WP:NOINDICSCRIPTS clearly mentions "India and its neighbouring countries", wont you change that?? Uttarpradeshi (talk) 11:22, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Uttarpradeshi Beijing railway station is not an India-related topic, so no. — DaxServer (talk to me) 11:42, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
DaxServer this line "This avoidance of Indic scripts only applies to articles that are predominantly India-related and is excluded from, among others, articles about Hinduism, Buddhism, or any of India's neighbouring countries" written in WP:NOINDICSCRIPTS clearly mentions "India and its neighbouring countries", then why china is not included??
