Port captaincies of the Republic of Croatia → Harbormasters’ offices (Croatia) — Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of Croatia, etc. In all official documents use the name Harbormasters’ offices. --Ex13 (talk) 11:50, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
- I do not agree, simply because a correct translation from Croatian language is formed by 2 words: lučke=port and kapetanije =captaincies. Secondly because the terms are synonym, as you can see inside the "Vocabuliare Maritime" written by Jean Jacques Tusseau. So even if the term is good for the Anglo-Saxon world, the term Harbormasters' office, an Americanization of the English original term Harbour master's office (composed by 3 words) do not respect the historical maritime tradition of Croatia and on the same time, its language. --Nicola Romani (talk) 20:50, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
