Merge proposal
editI propose to merge Cecil the Sagehen into this as article, as that mascot has a dubious notability. The Banner talk 13:39, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- Support -- I proposed the merge myself at the Cecil RM. Even the sports team is only borderline notable. No such user (talk) 18:56, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
- Support — It doesn't make sense to have an article on both the sports team and the mascot, and the mascot falls under the sports team, so P-P is the article that should be kept. I hope that whoever does the merging will preserve the useful information from Cecil the Sagehen in the process. - Sdkb (talk) 06:08, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- I went ahead and performed the merge. No such user (talk) 11:23, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
Large whitespace under Mens' Teams
editThere's an unsightly whitespace under the Mens' Teams section. I'm not familiar enough with HTML to see what the problem exactly is (or to fix it), but I have verified that it exists in Firefox and Chrome. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ibynx (talk • contribs) 21:17, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
National championship table
edit@Wmtribe2015, thanks for adding the national championships table. However, I'm pretty sure that the recent men's cross country championships aren't the only ones in the team's entire history since 1895; this table identifies one other. Could we add {{incomplete list}} to make it clearer that the list is not comprehensive? (I'd encourage the same for the other articles you've added this table to.)
Also, having a single subsection as the only content in a level-2 section is rather unusual. Is "team" meant to imply that we should also be adding individual championships? There are nearly 50 of those, according to the link above, so I question whether a full list of them would violate WP:INDISCRIMINATE. If we're only listing team championships (and perhaps just the raw total for individual championships), then we don't really need a subsection. Sports isn't my area of expertise, so please lmk if I'm getting any of this wildly wrong; looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Cheers, {{u|Sdkb}} talk 16:38, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
