Merger proposal
editThe Pitcairn-Cierva Autogiro Company (and AGA, etc.) was essentially the same company, merely renamed and reorganised. It would probably make the most sense if all of Pitcairn's convoluted history is on this one page, I think. - The Bushranger One ping only 00:16, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
RNAS?
editNot sure why but someone seems insistant on this having been operated by the Royal Naval Air Service - which cesed (ceased) to exist in 1919 (1918!) when it was amalgamated with the RFC to form the RAF. The control of the aircraft of the navy was under the Fleet Air Arm of the RAF from that point onward till WWII.NiD.29 (talk) 17:20, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
