Article apparently outdated, please update
editYour info with regard to electrification etc seems to be incorrect.
According to what I see at
http://tinyurl.com/d49ntm3 (> Google Translate)
and
http://www.bueker.net/trainspotting/map.php?file=maps/greece/greece.gif ,
the line seems to be complete (2 tracks, electrified), except for the Domokos - Tithorea section, which could be ready by 2015.
Could you update your article, please?
- Hi, I checked the most recent network statement of the OSE: dated 2012, and that still says that the Domokos-Tithorea section is single track, and that the Larissa-Platy section is the only electrified part. I guess that's the best source we have. Unless you can find a press release saying that it opened recently. Markussep Talk 19:01, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. What I can offer you is visual proof, from several probably independent sources: Go to Youtube and look for 'loco change domokos'. You will find several videos showing that this is the station where the catenary apparently starts/ends. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.120.231.38 (talk) 04:23, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
- Didn't I convince you? Well, then look at this YT video with emebedded description:
- There you can see it all. Check it out and let me know if you agree that this is better proof than an official document, which may be outdated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.120.228.89 (talk) 03:36, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
- In fact, the whole matter is even more complicated, but I have reliable info now: See this map
- issued by OSE affiliate ERGOSE. Unfortunately in greek only, but it appears worth the trouble to go through Google Translate, after a detour via
- if necessary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.120.231.38 (talk) 09:43, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
- Fortunately Ergose alo has pages in English: this one says that Domokos-Thessaloniki is electrified, and the electrification on the SKA (Acharnes) - Tithorea section is under construction. I'll add that to the article.Markussep Talk 19:34, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
