Please can the name of the page be changed to Pink Ribbon SWSA (Snooker)
A new tournament with the same name has started and we don’t want any confusion between the two having the same name as they are different events
Also, is it possible to lock a page from being edited? This event has now ended so no more information will need to be added or updated.

- Question: Is the new tournament part of a series that contains this tournament? If so, the page names could be modified to include each tournament's date. Besides that, locking the page would be preemptive because further notable information could come out about it, like news about its influence, or such. - The new tournament is not related to this one. It just has the same name. If we could have this page name changed to Pink Ribbon SWSA (snooker) we think that would be sufficient to distinguish each tournament in its own right. I understand why you would not wish to lock it. SWSA147 (talk) 03:39, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- Alternatively you could change the page name to the dates as you suggested so Pink Ribbon 2010-2019 (snooker) Whichever you deem most appropriate. Many thanks SWSA147 (talk) 03:41, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- All the sources I can find seem to connect the SWSA Pink Ribbon and the 2024 one held by Landywood), e.g. here. My current sense is that it's best to leave both under this name for now and make the different hosts and any other differences clear. Independent editors with more context should feel free to move if they think it's appropriate. Rusalkii (talk) 20:20, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
