Started cleanup
editSubject definitely meets Notability guidelines. He's a major and celebrated artist/illustrator. I've added some new content, started tidying up the layout, added a few references and removed the "unsourced BLP" template. Lots more to do. I plan to carry on getting this sorted out over the next week or so. Would appreciate help.--Plad2 (talk) 22:03, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- More content added and several references. I know these need tidying up and standardising but I don't have the energy to to it tonight. Other work needed on this: Tidy up Awards section.--Plad2 (talk) 23:00, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Granted asylum 1982
editPreviously we said born 1950, US citizen from 1982. Last hour I added travel to US 1984 in preparation for Olympic Games, etc, per [ref name=thewall] (publisher press release).
Library of Congress cites his website and Contemporary authors both viewed 2004-09 for different information (LCNAF Sis). Just now I revised/added its reported birthdate 1949-05-11 and simply deleted our specific years of citizenship 1982 and travel 1984 --inconsistent with each other, but these sources support travel 1982 and asylum 1982. Citizenship would be later?
I must run. --P64 (talk) 22:10, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- Citing "Contemp. authors online" LC says naturalized 1988. --P64 (talk) 15:30, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
