Bias
editThe last paragraph sounds like it is taken directly from an advertising pamphlet for the campus. I live in Cornwall, I know the area is nice, but perhaps a bit TOO positive here? I would rewrite and perhaps expand this article myself, but am busy with projects in real life. Harrias 23:40, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- I've done some rephrasing so we can take down the NPOV tag. QuartierLatin1968 22:25, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Merge
editIn Summer 2013 Exeter Uni and Falmouth Uni agreed to rename "Tremough" to "Penryn Campus" - see this, for example. It appears that Exeter Uni is also now referring to its University of Exeter, Cornwall Campus by the same new name - as here, for instance. I therefore propose that article is merged into this one. —SMALLJIM 14:35, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- Smalljim - I'm obviously assuming you forgot about this - Not sure if you still feel the same way so If you wanna Merge I have no objections :), Cheers. –Davey2010Talk 21:58, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
- Well, suggesting it and actually doing it are two different things... But I'll have a look at it in a while. —SMALLJIM 13:03, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
- Well there's been no comments/!votes for three years so personally I'd say no one's all that bothered either way.... –Davey2010Talk 14:42, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
- I think it should be done, but it looks as if doing it properly would require quite a lot of rewriting and research, which I don't want to get involved in at present. So it'll go on the back burner – unless anyone else wants to do it. Thanks for reminding me though! —SMALLJIM 10:53, 30 April 2015 (UTC)

- Yes this is a good merge. Agree Penryn Campus is the right name. I am a new editor and not that confident about doing the merge but can have a go when I have some time. Can someone please keep an eye on it and possibly tidy it up. J150vsc (talk) 11:56, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
- @J150vsc: Reading your user page, I'd say this would be excellent practice :) It would probably be best to do the drafting in your user space. Let me know if you need any help. —SMALLJIM 13:43, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

Haha I chanced upon this randomly today. Anyone wants to have a go? :) Ping @Smalljim, Davey2010, and J150vsc: --Lemongirl942 (talk) 16:09, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
- I'm surprised this wasn't merged a year ago, I would have no idea where to even begin with this sorry Lemongirl942, I suppose I could just merge the entire thing and then let someone else deal with it all lol, –Davey2010Talk 16:43, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
- OK, that was the third prompt. It must be time to act! I've had a look at the articles – both are pretty awful, but I think a merge now, after three years, wouldn't be too difficult. Most of the content of the Cornwall Campus article is about its departments and is unreferenced and would be out of date now, so scrapping/severely pruning it will be no great loss. I'll rewrite this article first and then convert the other into a redirect. —SMALLJIM 16:08, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
- Ugh. It's difficult to find any encyclopaedic detail in university literature these days: it's all about "educational excellence", "cutting-edge technology", "state-of-the-art facilities" and, of course, "vibrant communities". —SMALLJIM 19:40, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
