Title of the article--proposed change
editThis is an important topic, but one which I believe that the title should reflect that consent should be obtained from patients as part of the general consent PROCESS that includes a discussion of all of the procedures that are anticipated before a pelvic examination by medical students occurs under anesthesia AND that it should be reflected and made explicit on the consent form to DOCUMENT that such a discussion has taken place. To better reflect this, I would suggest that the title be changed to read: Pelvic examinations under anesthesia by medical students without explicit consent.
