Carlofantom
editHi everyone. I have just created my Wikipedia user page. I am a journalist but this is only my third time as an editor on Wikipedia so please be patient and bear with me until I learn the ropes. I am now editing the Patricia O'Callaghan page and I'm doing it one paragraph at a time, with a pause of 30 minutes between each one to await any comments or suggested corrections. Thanks.
Soprano
editIs Ms. O'Callaghan a mezzo-soprano or a Coloratura soprano? I don't understand the difference between the two but I was under the impression that she is a coloratura and this is a citation. --Yamla 19:09, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- Some references which stated she is a mezzo-soprano:
- Coloratura is apparently more a style than a range like mezzo-soprano (see the respective articles). Therefore it would seem possible for a soprano to be both (e.g. Cecilia Bartoli article) Dl2000 22:43, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the follow-up. And great work on the article, it was on my watch-list for quite some time but I didn't know enough to create it myself. --Yamla 23:07, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
