Parole of an inmate for deportation
editThis line "The term is also used to denote scenarios in which the federal government orders the release of an alien inmate incarcerated in a state prison.." seems questionable. The federal govt ordering release from a state prison? Luciano's case was clearly a recommendation by the state parole board to the governor, who consented to the parole with the understanding that deportation would follow. Does this have anything at all to do with "parole" as an immigration status? Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 02:07, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
