Harry Einstein → Parkyakarkus – per WP:COMMONNAME. Wikipedia's main title headers for actors are their stage names, which in this case was "Parkyakarkus" (Parkyakarkus star on Hollywood Walk of Fame). Not a single film encyclopedia or film research tool lists him under "E" for "Einstein" — he is always alphabetized under "P" for the mononym "Parkyakarkus". Here is his listing at the American Film Institute Catalog and at Turner Classic Movies (TCM). In this film review AllMovie refers to him as Parkyakarkus and feels the need to explain that his real name was Harry Einstein. The header of his obituary in The New York Times calls him "Parkyakarkus" and his films credited him as Parkyakarkus (1945's Out of This World). For the past year, the main title header was Harry "Parkyakarkus" Einstein and I would also support such a name form if consensus can be found for it. — Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:59, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 15:52, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
- Comment I requested the move (as a technical request) to "Harry Einstein". There did not seem to be a reason for the "nickname" disambiguation, as there is no other article with the title "Harry Einstein". No opinion on the proposed change. Natg 19 (talk) 00:12, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- Support move to Parkyakarkus, per nom, and Google Ngram. ASUKITE 00:18, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
- Support the "nickname" disambiguation is occasionally used, note Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer. The LA Times notes that the Hollywood Walk of Fame star is simply "Parkyakarkus" and claims he tried to change his name but was refused by a court. I don't like mononyms, but don't see a better option here. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 23:13, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
