This building doesn't say "Park Tower" on it anywhere. It says "Colonial Bank" at the top and "LYKES" at the bottom. Why was this article given the name "Park Tower"? Rhythmnation200400:58, 12 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Before it was the Lykes building, this building was the First Florida Bank building (up until First Florida was taken over by Barnett Bank in the early 1990s) -- that may well go back to its original construction, but it was definitely called that by the late 1970s. I don't feel confident adding that info to the article, though, since I don't have any references handy other than my own memory. Trainman (talk) 17:09, 5 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
