Feedback
edit@Andyavocado: Greetings! I think this is off to a pretty solid start!
- You've done a lot of research! The references look solid. A more to traditional newspapers or journals might be to helpful to establish the notability of the topic but I think you're off to a good start. As soon as you add a couple more, I think this is probably good to move the article into the main namespace.
- You make many statements in the text that are surprising and that really need to be backed up by citations. The whole paragraphs on descendants and how they feel, for example, needs to be cited or removed.
- There are many small typos, misspellings, and grammatical issues that should be fixed.
Keep working on it! This is a great start and I'm looking forward to seeing this develop into a great article. —mako๛ 19:35, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
@Andyavocado: Of all the articles I've seen throughout the class, yours is one of most detailed I've seen, awesome job! You have really solid references from a variety of reliable sources. The topic is also a really interesting and I'm surprised there wasn't already and article on it. Overall, great job, there are just a few grammar and spelling mistakes that I have gone through and fixed. You should definitely take a second look and correct any additional mistakes. Once you have done that I think you have an amazing article, great job! AustinThomson (talk) 01:43, 31 October 2015 (UTC)AustinThomson
Ethical consideration about notable individuals
editI have some concerns regarding if it is ethical for us to add notable individuals on this Wikipedia page considering that this information without proper explanation about their specific stories and citations for articles might result in potential harm to these individuals, creating opportunities for potential hate speech in and out of the realm of Wikipedia entry. When citing notable individuals should we seek confirmation and consent from these individuals first? Is this section really necessary and what kind of nuance do they add to the entry? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vicolaus (talk • contribs) 01:43, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
