Official website

edit

The band's official website is located directly at http://www.panik-musik.de. The website http://www.panikmusik.de redirects to the official website but it is not the official website. I would say that it is better to link directly to a website and not to an intermediary redirect. Deg2800 [talk] 17:21, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Vertigo to Universal, not Universal to Vertigo

edit

User 84.192.16.154 changed the page to state that Nevada Tan/Panik changed labels from Universal to Vertigo and cited the "Vertigo website" with no URL in the edit summary. However, going back to this pages history, it is clear that they were with Vertigo while calling themselves Nevada Tan. This Billboard.com Discography page clearly lists their Nevada Tan album "Niemand Hört Dich" as being produced by Vertigo. Also, their new official website (http://www.panik-musik.de/) is copyrighted by Universal and the free download of the new Panik song "Wegweiser" is hosted at universal-music.de. Therefore, it stands that they did in fact change from Vertigo to Universal and not the other way around as suggested by this user. Deg2800 [talk] 14:34, 7 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Guess we're both wrong as the new single also has the Vertigo (and Universal) logo, just like the album Niemand Hört Dich. Their site is indeed hosted by Universal but since Vertigo is a part of Universal this says nothing. Their official newsletter is send from webteam@vertigo.fm and on the band official MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/panikmusik) it says Vertigofm Universal under label. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.192.16.154 (talk) 21:15, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Echo nominees

edit

The band was nominated twice for the ECHO award(biggest and most important music award in germany), best national alternative/rock group of the year and best newcomer of the year... worth being mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.86.152.16 (talk) 23:38, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Change of name back to Panik

edit

The band officially changed their name after they demanded a civil suit from their old producers and managers. The band claimed to have been cheated out of money, and had not recieved a penny from the Cd Neimand Hort Dich. They also revealed that they had been used and that the producers and manager had plan to exploit them as though a new version of Tokio Hotel and as some pop teenie band. In an interview with Stern TV they showed parts of videos that Timo had recorded and showed them to see how they had treated Panik. David also said that he had gone about 4 days without a shower, and that they were forced not to leave the studio and sleep on the floor. Also, without the band knowing it the producers and managers had gone ahead and put legal rights under the name "Nevada Tan" therefore if the band wanted to leave they could not use the same name. IN the Stern TV interview it was revealed because of what had been done to the band and the fact that the producers and manager used them the contract was null and void. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xcrystaltapiax (talkcontribs) 17:45, 29 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
