Suggestions
editSome suggestions for expanding this article would be to determine whether Paimon occurs in Wierus' Pseudomonarchia Daemonorum (which in many aspects parallels the Goetia), and an a discussion of his occurence among the "Four Great Kings of Evil Spirits" in some lists. The Goetia reference is undoubtedly his most prominent occurrence in occult writing, but this should be placed in some larger context. If I can assemble relevant sources, I may undertake this myself. 72.49.66.68 (talk) 18:15, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
There is a use of Paimon in modern media that could be added to this article. Paimon is a character in the animated series Helluva Boss, where he appears as the father of Stolas, both of which are (both in the series and in mythology) part of the Ars Goetia. Paimons first (and as of typing this, only) appearance is in season 2 episode 1 when he informs Stolas of his purpose/duties.
There is an argument to be made that Paimon is also used in the game Genshin Impact, although from what I can tell, having not played the game myself, the only similarity is the name. Considering the rarity of that name in media in general, it may be worth looking into to see if this is a strong enough reference to be mentioned in the article. The wiki for Genshin Impact mentions the Ars Goetia, so there may be something that is either not mentioned on their wiki, or something that I missed. Either way, more investigation is needed before that reference can be confidently added. --Tryplot (talk) 01:04, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
