Revert

This article needs to be reverted to the version from 16th May, 2007 due to overzealous deletion. In case there is a question about conflicts of interest (or any other issues), I would like to submit the following section of "External Links" for evaluation by this audience:

• Various Papers(Research & Practical) on P2P (GOBO)
  • Who runs that site? Who wrote those papers? Why do I have to download them to see the author? Seems like an inappropriate source of information for a supposedly unbiased article.
• The Foundation for P2P Alternatives Wiki-based site with discussion of the philosophy behind peer-to-peer networks
• Study: P2P effect on legal music sales "not statistically distinguishable from zero"
• (Mis)understanding P2P

Changes

I have reorganized it slightly to list the original authors comments under disadvantages and have added a section called disadvantages. Still needs a lot of work, but perhaps now we can multiple points of view. Agupte 12:30, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

Why is this program constantly removed from this page? The program is a legitimate P2PTV program. The user opens the program, connects a channel and is almost instantly connected to a P2P world of users watching the same channel, uploading and downloading at the same time. I don't need to explain the program much further, but it is a legitimate P2PTV program and deserves to be on this page. Cableguytk 05:22, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
