Please note that it is not "Ottamthullal", rather "Ottan Thullal"...

Sheethangan Parayan Ottan

These are the three forms of Thullal....

Rename request

edit

Correct name of the article must be Ottan thullal. But it is not possible to move the page because there is already a redirect in that title. Admin action required for page move. Please rename this article to Ottan thullal. --Praveen:talk 07:46, 16 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

The article uses a capital T for Thullal so I have moved it to the capitalised version. Hope this is okay? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:55, 16 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thullal is used here as a colloquial term for dance. But it is okay :-)--Praveen:talk 11:59, 16 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Meaning of "besides"

edit

What does this mean?

"accompanied by a mridangam (a barrel-shaped double-headed drum) and/or the handy idakka besides a pair of ilathalam cymbals."

Does it mean "beside", as in "next to", or does it mean "in addition to"? Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:09, 25 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
