Sacramento redirect?
editWhat's with the note about the Sacramento redirect? Shouldn't that go to Sacramento, California? What's the Oroville connection?Skookum1 19:50, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Greater Oroville??? Sources???
editOroville urban population maybe? I don't know. Any thoughts? I know oroville has a lot around it outside the city limits and outside of Chico's urban population but I'd like to see a little more than "hear-say" info.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.10.3.66 (talk • contribs) 11:18, June 1, 2007
I referenced the City of Oroville's webpage statistical information, but I don't see a year on that page to reference. The copyright at the bottom of the page says 2005, but I doubt that's where the information is from. Killiondude (talk) 05:28, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
A good part of Oroville's and Butte County's (as a whole) population was ethnicly cleansed over a little over a hundred years ago, should that be referenced somewhere on the page? I'm talking about the Chinese, of course. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.155.141.9 (talk) 15:57, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Oroville, California
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Oroville, California's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 05:23, 4 November 2019 (UTC)

Constitutional Republic
edit- In November 2021, citing alleged federal and state overreach during the Covid-19 pandemic, Oroville's city council passed a resolution declaring the city as its own "Constitutional Republic" and refused to enforce federal orders that it said violated its citizens' rights.[14]
Does this mean it seceded from the union? Does this make it a micronation? It's been two months and there appears to be no attempt to retake it by force so I suspect that means it's an independent micro nation? Unless each state is a constitutional republic? I am a student in Australia so I am not sure what this means but the fact media is hasn't reported on this in two months makes me suspect it may be real. 124.190.192.20 (talk) 09:41, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- The "secession" is entirely PR and not a serious matter in any way. There is no "attempt to retake it" because there is nothing to retake, Oroville is still part of California and the United States. Cristiano Tomás (talk) 21:05, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
