The LZ's to one side and the places to the other side along with 3 opperations on the front of the helmet indicate this. 2603:8000:5700:1EC2:8D16:46B2:9293:2ECD (talk) 00:05, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

User:Dondervogel 2 explain how the above comment (which I deleted and you reinstated) improves the Operation Pershing page. The comment is militaria collection trivia of zero encylcopedic value. Mztourist (talk) 10:29, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Nothing on a talk page ever improves the article directly. The purpose is to discuss whether a change to the article is merited. While the graffiti is clearly anecdotal, that on its own makes it neither irrelevant (your original claim) nor trivial (your revised claim). The purpose of a comment on the talk page is to invite discussion, which may or may not lead to consensus for a change. That purpose is ill-served by one editor shutting down the discussion. Let's see what others think. Dondervogel 2 (talk) 11:09, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
"Nothing on a talk page ever improves the article directly" is incorrect. What changes are being proposed by graffiti on a helmet? None. Mztourist (talk) 10:51, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
User:Dondervogel 2, explain what changes to the page are proposed by the original comment. Mztourist (talk) 06:39, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have no idea what changes are proposed, if any. I also have no idea why you chose to delete a post that was made in good faith, nor why you are making such a meal of it now. If the consensus is to make no change, so be it. Dondervogel 2 (talk) 08:01, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
If changes are not proposed and you can't explain what changes if any are being proposed, then the original comment should be deleted because that is the sole purpose of Talk Pages. I don't understand why "you are making such a meal of it" when the Talk Page policy is so clear. Mztourist (talk) 07:56, 8 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
