TreasuryTag: I copied the content from the Distribuition section in the Erlang page. I think it should removed from there but I don't want to deleted from there before this page is accepted. Even before I finished the previous comment someone deleted the page and made it a redirect.

I want to defend the creation of this page. The programming language is for the programming language for example Java is the language jdk is the implementation (and openjdk, gcj, etc). Common Lisp has serveral different implementations.

Erlang the implementation IS the specification but the programming language page is not prepared for this. E.g it doesn't not allow to put the latest release date or the latest release version on the box. If you look in the source of the Erlang page this information is there (outdated there is R11B and now is R13B) but the Programming Language Infobox ignore these informations.

The box I updated myself with information from the http://www.erlang.org
