Merge with Dangerous Woman Tour

edit
Why create an article for a single concert? It would be better as a section in either the Dangerous Woman Tour article, or the bombing article. Splintering it into its own article just forces people to click around more without adding anything helpful and encyclopedic. -- Ssilvers (talk) 01:20, 31 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Oppose per WP:GNG. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:13, 7 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Excellent Initiative

edit

Don't see why this needs be merged with anything else. Is the Wikipedia running out of server space? Didn't think so. Please drop me a note when you publish, I'll be happy to have a look. XavierItzm (talk) 18:34, 31 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

@XavierItzm: The article is now in the main space if you wish to help expand. ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:39, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

History merge?

edit

@Anthony Appleyard: I submitted a hist merge request since this draft was created prior to the existing live article (One Love Manchester). I have transferred most of the content over to the main space already, but would appreciate a proper recording of the page's history and talk page. Are you able to help with this? ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:10, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Which date format?

edit

Which date format should we use? I'm inclined to think UK because the event is being held in the UK, but Grande is American, so I'm not sure. We should decide to clear up any possible later confusion. Any thoughts? This is Paul (talk) 19:12, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I think UK formatting seems more appropriate. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:30, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Line-up for "One Love Manchester"

edit

Here is the line-up to the concert by chronological order with some extras added to the concert. Just if anyone wants to add it to the infobox for performances. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/news/line-up-ariana-grandes-one-love-manchester-concert-tonight/ --82.41.158.132 (talk) 19:21, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Template:British English

edit

Does anyone want to add this template? I'm not familiar enough with British spelling customs to determine if the template applies to the article or not. Gestrid (talk) 21:37, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Setlist in list or table?

edit

So, @Zac Perrera changed it (also did a bunch of really stupids edits in the process, but those are an easy fix). Does bring up the question: list or table? I think it looks better in a table. 131.227.105.31 (talk) 22:21, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

@131.227.105.31: I agree, I'll change it back to a table. TheKaphox T 15:56, 5 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Mn1548: Other benefit concert setlists (e.g. Live Aid) use table formats. Not sure whether the usual concert setlist format is better though. Jc86035 (talk) Use {{re|Jc86035}}

{{re|Jc86035}} Personally I find the list more aesthetically pleasing and also that is how I've seen all other (or the vast majority of) setlists being displayed on Wikipedia so changing it will help with consistency ascross the site. However with that said, it's only aesthetics, therefore not a massive problem with the page. Mn1548 —Preceding undated comment added 13:26, 22 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Need for every radio station and tv station and online streaming source?

edit

I see absolutely no reason to list all the stations that it appeared on. Is there one? It's like half the article El cid, el campeador (talk) 18:57, 5 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I think it needs to be there for the purpose that it was a one off event and the international reach it had, it was broadcast in 36 countries. (58.164.100.14 (talk) 01:24, 6 June 2017 (UTC))Reply
Can't we say "it was broadcast in 36 countries" instead? There is absolutely no reason anyone would look on this page to see a list of the specific list of channels, which itself says is incomplete. El cid, el campeador (talk) 02:05, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
@El cid, el campeador: I feel that the list of countries should be mentioned even if their country flags weren't used. Many of them broadcast it live and since it was a one off event, I feel it should be mentioned. For example, Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief lists all the countries that broadcast that event. (58.164.100.14 (talk) 03:18, 6 June 2017 (UTC))Reply
Just about to comment on this. No reason to list every single radio station, as it's complete cruft. Ditto for all the international broadcasters. Just a simple line about x radio stations and y countries is all that is needed. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 08:47, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
If someone wants to add back the country names feel free to do so, but I just took it out. El cid, el campeador (talk) 18:38, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
Added back the list of international broadcasters, it is mostly sourced unlike the radio stations. There is no source i could find that lists all the countries that broadcast the contest. Many pages have such lists, especially for sporting events, so why not this article? Thanks, Fort esc (talk) 18:59, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
FWIW I would've supported the removal so thanks to who ever sorted it all out. –Davey2010Talk 19:05, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Liam Gallagher

edit

The information about Liam Gallagher is wrong. I changed it once but it has since been changed back. Here are the facts:

Rock im Ring and Rock im Park are two festivals happening at the same time at different places in Germany. He was supposed to perform at Rock am Ring on Friday, but the rest of the day was cancelled before his performance due to terror suspicions.

He was scheduled to perform at Rock im Park on Sunday afternoon and that performance took place! See: http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/liam-gallagher-bd6bd72.html

He must have quickly left Germany and flown to Manchester to perform at One Love Manchester.

Can someone else please correct it so the information stays up this time? Thank you. Mkomkomko (talk) 11:24, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Changed it myself once more with an additional source.Mkomkomko (talk) 14:59, 6 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
