editAll the statements in the article are taken from the bands own, official description at http://www.omnia-neocelt.com/en/band_show_en.html - but I dont know how to add references accordingly! Can someone else please do it? Taeronai (talk) 22:31, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Languages in which they sing
editDoes anyone have a list of the languages used? I know the article states that they sing in Welsh, but I speak Welsh and have heard all their albums (I think), and cannot find one song in Welsh. -- Xxglennxx (talk • cont.) 15:09, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- Having browsed their titles and lyrics I couldn't find anything Welsh either. There are Breton and Irish Gaelic lyrics but nothing Welsh. Their website isn't very informative either so I've put a fact tag behind the claim in the article. De728631 (talk) 19:28, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Live on Earth (2012)
editEverything that I've found indicates (and provides) that this is a live album, rather than a studio album. Should it therefore be moved? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:C5CD:CE20:C910:5729:2391:5EEC (talk) 23:04, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
Maral
editMaral considers it insulting to be named Iranian so plz don't use that nationality for her. See: http://www.worldofomnia.com/?p=maral 82.170.244.87 (talk) 01:37, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- Note: never EVER call her Iranian. She’s distanced herself completely from the current Iranian regime, because she can’t support a regime that caused her mother’s death. So instead, she finds peace in the history of her Persian ancestors, along with the ancient Pagan belief the Persians had.
- We must remember that this is an encyclopaedia that deals in fact. If it turns out that she still holds Iranian nationality, then that is what she is. By all means it would be appropriate to say that she self-defines culturally as Persian, but unless she has given up Iranian citizenship (if she ever held it, given she was born in Iraq) she is still Iranian however much she dislikes it. -- Derek Andrews (talk) 12:44, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

Omnia (band)
editI understand that editing that page under this account might be seen as a COI. We took very good care of editing the text in a way that it is neutral and factual. Be fair, if I wanted to put promotional text in there, wouldn't I have done that with an account bearing not this name?
So could you please be more specific in what part(s) caused the offence in your eyes, so that we can make sure the new text is up to par for all to enjoy the completeness of the information.
For example, I saw you even rolled back the infobox change, in which I updated the current bandmembers and removed the old bandmembers, because the old bandmember list with all ex-members included was just too long and also included in the text anyway. I fail to see how that is a COI.

- Feel free to add back the info box changes but the rest was VERY promotional, non neutral and unreferenced.Theroadislong (talk) 09:38, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for your feedback. We will revise the text again. Can you please point out what you found promotional, non neutral and unreferenced, so we can make sure the new text will be acceptable for you (and all the others)? That would be greatly appreciated. Omnia webmaster (talk) 09:54, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- NONE of the content was referenced to reliable third party references. I think that as you are so close to the subject you don't see the problem which is why it is strongly discouraged to edit with a conflict of interest.Theroadislong (talk) 11:00, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Conspiracy theories
editThe english page should also inform about the conspiracy theories about Covid and the New World Order that Steve in particular is publishing on the official band website http://www.worldofomnia.com/
The german wiki already has a section about it. 2A02:3037:606:985:A865:E008:55D:E0D6 (talk) 17:56, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
