Consider re-write
editIn its current state, this article relies heavily on the work of one scholar, Karel Schoeman. While his work on Schreiner is important in the historiography, there has been more recent scholarship on Schreiner that reveals a different narrative from the one presented here. There are a number of factual inaccuracies in the article that need to be amended as a matter of priority. These include misspellings of names, incomplete family information (her 2 sisters are not mentioned), incorrect personal details, and a lack of diverse sources. Today I added a new section entitled 'Scholarship' with links to books and articles written by recent Schreiner scholars. Future editors might consider reading their work as they provide new and varied perspectives on Schreiner's life and works. --Eilidhabhall (talk) 15:00, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

Lead is too long
editIt is unusual for a Lead to be this long, and to rely on such a lengthy quotation from one scholar, as well as such detailed discussion of two works. I recommend the quote be moved to the body of the article, and the Lead be edited to focus on her biography, rather than her works.Parkwells (talk) 17:36, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
