Name origin

Website states that the origin of the name is "after one of its first settlers, Neddy Norris, who came to the area between 1789 and 1790. The Norrises disappeared or left the area and there is no official account of their residency.", whereas the article text states much otherwise. Perhaps the cited book source could be wrong, or the webmaster is wrong.
