Notability
editIt is on 3 CD's. Check Google under the title, against playlist. I think you will find it is widely broadcast in the US and Canada. Pustelnik (talk) 23:25, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- On that notability template have you clicked on the link that reads references? Is this song notable enough to warrant a stand alone article? Have you checked WP:MUSIC for criteria for songs. Please take note of, "Most songs do not merit an article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for a prominent album or for the artist who wrote or prominently performed the song." It seems to me that by the criteria this would be better covered at the artist's article? Sting_au Talk 23:50, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
How about five recorded versions, a Sing Out! review, and a referrenced quote that it is often mistaken for a traditional song? Pustelnik (talk) 01:51, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well the two refs seem independent enough? Nothing much at allmusic.com which is an accepted resource per WP:MUSIC but I'll kick the notability tag anyhow. Must say that the refs really need to utilize citeweb templates for best effect. Authors of articles need to be cited. I might add one to show you what I mean. Sting_au Talk 02:18, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I haven't used citeweb. Where are the templates described? I don't think that allmusic has much on Canadian or contemporary folk music, but maybe I'm wrong. Pustelnik (talk) 03:06, 10 January 2008 (UTC) Actually, Shelley Posen is there, misspelled as Shelly. I sent in a correction Pustelnik (talk) 00:27, 11 January 2008 (UTC) allmusic is now corrected, and expanded. Pustelnik (talk) 02:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20080517102835/http://jacey-bedford.com/finestkind.htm to http://www.jacey-bedford.com/finestkind.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
