Nita's voice and filmography

edit

Wikipedia is evil and refuses to let good sites as sources so I wont even fight them. But in short Nita's voice can be heard here which should disprove the Brooklyn accent bunk (let alone her theatre career that followed). She wasnt in some of the films listed and a complete filmography can be found here. This site also has a lot of Nita information, but hasnt been updated in years so especially some of the filmography is out of date.

One thing to note is some of her films had two names especially the foreign language ones. Thats about all the help Im giving, I've had enough of wiki.--75.56.214.62 (talk) 08:04, 19 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Do you have another link to the page that has files of her voice? Such a link should go under "External links" (as is done with streaming radio programs and other audio files. When I tried the link you gave (hoping to add it that way), unfortunately I got an error message; apparently the site no longer exists. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:02, 27 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Last film(s)

edit

I can't add this to the article, as without sources it counts as OR (aka guesswork), but in the Austrian film "Die Pratermizzi" Nita Naldi's character wears a golden mask, so it seems highly likely that the otherwise unrecorded "La Maschera d'Oro" ("The Golden Mask") is the Italian version of "Die Pratermizzi". But finding documentation... HeartofaDog (talk) 00:00, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Article Quality

edit

This article on Nita Naldi is almost completely incorrect, on everything from biographical data to filmography. Correct information can be found at Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp, at http://www.nitanaldi.com, which is the only biography, article, or website that has the approval of Nita's family and was written with their cooperation (as stated in the acknowledgements tab, http://nitanaldi.com/?page_id=13). If there are questions regarding the factuality or reliability of our website, please peruse the references section, http://nitanaldi.com/?page_id=82 and decide for yourselves. I am not wikipedia-savvy nor do I particularly want to be, and since I (and my partners) researched and wrote the Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp website it's doubtful that wikipedia's rules would allow me to make the (substantial) changes that are needed here. As it stands, however, the current article is so factually disastrous that it should either be completely rewritten or removed altogether.
