When

What was the initial announcement date of the d810? I came here looking for that information, and couldn't find it. Introduction dates for other similar cameras *does* appear in their respective Wikipedia articles, so it seems appropriate that that info should be included here as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.72.222.99 (talk) 17:37, 20 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reference 19 seems to be a link to just a sales site |(Atmos) - OK to have link to manufacturer technical info, but this has nothing useful

Hey Samsara, read the comments given:

20Da/60Da citations see linked Wikipedia pages: No need to repeat them here, if you want copy it.

Also true for the simple calculation - which according to Wikipedia rules needs no ref: Wikipedia editors should have knowledge above the average reader. Learn by reading image sensor format: all figures given in the text.

Please ask for details before revert. 77.12.188.98 (talk) 09:47, 22 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

I assumed since you were writing edit summaries, that you could read them as well. My concern, as you should have realised by now, is that you refer to a "standard APS-C DSLR" when there is no such thing. There are many APS-C DSLRs with varying sensitivity, not to mention that mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras should also be considered under WP:DUE, which again vary in sensitivity. Therefore your calculation, as it stands, is fictional and has no place on Wikipedia. However, you seem to struggle with making the statement more precise, which you could do by explicitly referring to an existing camera model or sensor.
I would also recommend registering for a user account to avoid the impression that you are avoiding scrutiny. Given your editing pattern, I would also recommend that you pay a brief visit to Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Samsara 23:19, 22 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
