From the talk page of the picture
editThe titling of this picture is problematic.
As first, the picture is taken from the site www.crohis.com,
(complete address [1])as it can be seen on the picture.
But, that was not mentioned in the licensing, neither about sources of this picture.
Second, the picturename on en.wiki is distorted.
Original form on the sourcesite is called "pucicn.jpg".
Second, his signature can be seen at the bottom of the picture. It says "Nikola Pucić", not some "Pozza". In fact, he fought whole his life for Croatian cause, unification of Croatian lands and against the italianisation of southern Croatia.
But, the uploader of this picture has ignored the stating of the source (site www.crohis.com) and Pucić's personal declaring, putting italianised nameform in the imagename on en.wiki. That's perfidious way of distorting of historical data. Kubura 20:05, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Imagename should be renamed into "Niko Pucić" (with "ć", not "c", he wrote his name in Croatian).
Before that, there's a need to ask the source site's opinion. Kubura 20:09, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Is someone trying to forge national identity of Pucić family
edit"Medo Pucić (1821–1882), kroatischer Schriftsteller und Politiker Niko Pucić (1820–1883), kroatischer Politiker und Journalist"
http://de.wiki.x.io/wiki/Puci%C4%87
"Medo Pucić and Nikola "Niko" Pucić were two important figures in Croatian and Serbian politics in the 19th century; Medo fought for the unification of Dalmatia (then under direct Austrian rule) with the rest of Croatia. Niko Pucić was an important politician and Pan-Slavic nationalist."
