GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose):   b (MoS):
The prose is decent, but it needs some work. Some examples: The route heads eastward, going along the shores of Lake Champlain as Bridge Road. - "Going" is a rather casual and encyclopedic word. Just after the western terminus, there is a fork in the road, the left of which is NY 185, the right of which is for a road to a housing development. - This needs to be reworded. After passing houses and forestry, Route 185 begins to approach the Champlain Bridge. - Is there any location where the road doesn't pass houses? I suggest removing that part of the sentence. In terms of MoS, {{commonscat}} should be in the external links section.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
References are good for the most part, but prior to being renumbered to its next designation, NY 910L. needs a citation.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
    Any history prior to designation?
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Images look good, but the caption for the image in the history section needs a full stop
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

A decent article overall, but there are some issues, which are listed above. On hold for now. –Juliancolton Happy Holidays 19:09, 19 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
