Talk:Neddylation

As it stands this article is completely innacurate. The adition of Nedd8 to proteins does not direct them to the proteasome, and indeed in many cases the role of Nedd8 is uncharcterised. However in, for example, the neddylation of Cullin3 promotes its activity, possibly through dimerisation. I will be tagging the whole article as disputed and will also remove some of the most obviously innacurate 'facts.' To be honest, I recommend creating a new article, 'Nedd8' and redirecting Neddylation to point to that, bringing the article in line with ubiquitin/ubiquitination and SUMO/SUMOylation. I've remove the factual errors (And the dispute, I hope I'm doing these things right) but the article is still sorely lacking. I shall look at expanding it shortly if there is no further input here.--JamesGlover 14:49, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
