Photo captions are a little redundant, don't you think? I believe we got the gist of the airfield "being for touch and go practice landings" after the first few times we read it..45Colt 17:48, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
history section
editI started a history section and before I could even add anything, Winkelvi immediately, within 4 minutes (!!!) reverts with sharp words : No - a section needs to be more than a sentence. Winkelvi With all due respect, these are WP:good faith and no vandal edits, gimme a break! this page NEEDS a history section. FYI I am adding some content, adding form not just copy editing, but might reconsider with Winkelvi's hostile attitude. He forgot there's a policy to welcome new editors to a page... --Wuerzele (talk) 05:28, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- With thousands of edits to your credit, you're hardly a new editor, Wuerzele, so why would I "welcome" you? My edit summary was hostile? Nowhere near hostile. Most seasoned editors actually expand a section in one swoop, not put in one sentence and call it a section. There was no indication I could ascertain that indicated you were going to expand the section. Your edits didn't look like vandalism to me (and I never indicated I was seeing anything resembling vandalism (so why you would even mention vandalism is anyone's guess), but they did look poorly executed and not in the best interest of an encyclopedia article. My advice: knock off the personal attacks and attitude. A good start that direction would be collegial editing and cutting back on the drama. -- WV ● ✉ ✓ 05:47, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- Whoa- do what you preach. How about you knock off your attitude and personal attacks and stop edit warring. So far you 've not contributed ONE shred of evidence to the contrary I have a source that stated what I added and it stays there. You can ADD if you like. Do not remove sourced info. You dont even seem to know the WP rules: of course one welcomes NEW EDITORS to a site! --Wuerzele (talk) 07:23, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
