It isn't National Road #2 but mostly #3. DR Congo RN2 is Mbuji-Mayi--Bukavu--Goma and RN3 is Kisangani--Bukavu. Reference: http://www.unjlc.org/23003/DRC/maps/catalogue/unjlc_drc_003/view
- This anonymous comment from 2008 is exactly right. The map is correct, but the creator of the article mixed some things up. I think the confusion is from that Washington Post article "German Agro Action, a charity operating in Third World countries, started rebuilding 435-mile National Road No. 2 as the war wound down, aiming to reconnect Goma, an eastern city of 160,000 near the Rwandan border, to the port city of Kisangani on the Congo River and the world beyond." This reads like the whole Goma-Kisangani route is National Road No. 2, but really it's only RN2 from Goma to Sake. Understandable mistake, but most of the article isn't about RN2. 〈 Forbes72 | Talk 〉 10:28, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
