Depots And Routes run by them
editDepots and routes run by them is a duplicate information as it is more relvant on List of National Express West Midlands Bus Routes. (Ucebaggie (talk) 16:53, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Although would it not be useful if it had the info like the addresses of the depots of National Express London?? Thanks...TOMBRANT407 (talk) 12:33, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
I agree Ucebaggie, which is why it will be removed soon by myself. Tombrant407 - addresses aren't allowed on articles as Wikipedia isn't a directory apparently. They shouldn't be on the Travel London page really.
In general, this page is becoming messy now.. I shall be making sure it gets back to the high standard it was previously when I did most of the editing (on the old TWM page).
Westbromdepot (talk) 01:43, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
So does this mean that the Travel London addresses should be removed?? (I am copying and editing this comment on the Travel London and Travel Surry Pages.
Thanks...TOMBRANT407 (talk) 09:19, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Fleet - Rumours
editThis will probably be ignored, but can people stop posting rumours in the fleet section (and the article in general). I know the source of where they things tend to get copied from, and while it is usually accurate, it cannot be taken a gospel, and is not suitable as a reference point. Wikipedia is supposed to be a factual resource.
NXWM bus routes articles
editI don't know where to say this, but here seems most appropriate. I have recently become worried about the standard of some of the National Express West Midlands (and Coventry) separate route articles. Some are in all honesty quite bad - when comparing them to the more developed London Buses ones.
I give examples of route 350, which has no intro, and gives details of "route" and "places" (what's that supposed to mean?!!); route 997 is also interesting, consisting mainly of a (large!) picture.
Now don't get me wrong, some of the articles are good. I don't like nominating article for deletion so I wont, nor do I expect the articles to gain featured article status. I just think some could do with a bit of developing, especially ones IMO at risk of deletion. Unfortunately, I don't have enough knowledge to improve the articles, but I hope some of you keen Wikipedians there can! Arriva436talk 20:16, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- I can now say most articles have improved quite significantly. The examples I gave of route 350 and route 997 are now very respectable articles, especially the 350. Well done to all those involved. Arriva436talk 10:35, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
NXWM bus routes articles (2)
editAs I have just said above, the articles themselves are now at a much better standard, so well done! However, while going though some of them changing links to Alexander Dennis Enviro400 (see Talk:Alexander Dennis), I noticed there are some quite regularly occurring grammar problems, especially on the apostrophe front!!!
Now as I reminder I will say that plurals do not need an apostrophe. For example, more than one Wright Eclipse Gemini would be "Wright Eclipse Geminis", not "Wright Eclipse Gemini's". Apostrophes suggest the ownership of something, so "Dennis Dart's from April 2005" would mean "Dennis Dart" owns "from April 2005", whereas "Dennis Darts from April 2008" would be correct.
Sorry to be so sad, but Wikipedia is about giving reliable information, and if you can't get the grammar right, then it doesn't look very good! (Sado) rant over! Arriva436talk 10:46, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
