The fundamentals of this article are pretty sound. Some bits that stick out
- What are the penalties for draft-dodging, per his vow to not go if he was picked? Does he just sit out the season?
- Not sure, but if Mississauga has drafted him instead of Oshawa, I'd assume he would've demanded a trade.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:37, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- can you check the rules and add what they are? Because obviously he can't just do what he wants YellowMonkey (bananabucket) (help the Invincibles Featured topic drive) 04:09, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, from experience Eli Manning was drafted by the San Diego Chargers, days after he said he would never play for them. So, knowing it'd be hard to get him to the facility and onto the field, they traded him. Plus, since he has to sign a contract and the team holds his rights in that league until he does, somebody like Horton could've always gone overseas to play and comeback in a few years to enter the NHL draft. So, the player actually does have full control of whether or not he plays for the team. However, I can't source this despite it being in use.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:45, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

- "was considered a top prospect in the OHL for the 2003 NHL Entry Draft" -->"was considered a top prospect from the OHL for the 2003 NHL Entry Draft"
- Should explain what attributes made him so prized for drafting
- "To begin the 2002–03 season, Horton missed 13 games out of 22 but still ended up scoring nine goals with 18 points during that span" If there are lots of numerical quantities, they are either all spelled out or all numbers -> check throughout
- Can you link to point??? What is the difference between it and a goal? On goals count in deciding who wins, right?
- Do we know anything about his childhood, siblings etc???
- Will look.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:37, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- Not really.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 21:45, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

- Why are some publishers listed in .com format and others in a normal format
- The .com's are for web-only sites, should I remove the .com?--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:37, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- I find it a bit odd really, but I don't mind strongly. YellowMonkey (bananabucket) (help the Invincibles Featured topic drive) 04:09, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

- "might've" no contractions
- Why BrE in this article "rumours" and center/centre
- Canadian English, because he's Canadian.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:37, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, but centre and center are used interchangably
- As far as I can see, "Center" is only used in the article in a quote and in reference headlines other than that I used only "Centre" during in-text mentions.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:32, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, but centre and center are used interchangably
- "despite previous rumours he would not" What were the reasons for him wanting to move? personal? money? didn't fit in with coleagues?
- The source doesn't really specify the source of his unhappiness. I'd assume team performance but there's no source for it.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:47, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- " the name "Nathan Hortonen" in an attempt to make his name European" shouldn't this be more specifically a Finnish suffix? Kimi Raikkonen, Mika Hakkinen, Heikki Kovalainen etc
- Trade speculation - What is the rationale for the club possibly wanting a trade? rationales should be given for decisions
- Missing section on playing style, strengths and weaknesses. What tactics does he like to use??? How does he combine with other players in the team. Is he fast, slow, good at swerving past defenders, steamrolling them????
- Will look for scouting report.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:47, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've added a playing style section, but having never written one I'm afraid it's probably POVish. Thoughts?--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 19:53, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- It's unusual, as long as it sourced and makes clear that it can be subjective or opinion it is fine; I found it strange that in many GA/FAs on North American sports there is little on style but on soccer or cricket, there is at least a standard sized paragraph: Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry and so forth YellowMonkey (bananabucket) (help the Invincibles Featured topic drive) 04:09, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- I think thats due to many editors of NA sports considering playing style 100% subjective because two people will have wildly differnt views on someones style and thus not really relevant to an article. -DJSasso (talk) 03:35, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
