Yes. This is mentioned in Wyndham & King's "Trotsky: A Documentary." Trotsky's granddaughter Yulia Akselrod also wrote to a few Soviet leaders making similar requests.

Where did they meet?

The article Aleksandra Sokolovskaya claims that Trotsky and Natalia met in Paris, is that correct? Or was it London? It also claims that the first marriage fell apart because of Natalia. Wrong picture?

Natalia Sedova, early 1910s

The picture used in the article (right) may not be of Natalia Sedova. Here is a picture claimed to be her many years later. Even accounting aging, it does not seem to be the same person.
