Syllables

edit

The article currently says, In modernizing hymn texts the use of "Jesu" or "Jesus" could cause problems where the metre only allowed two syllables, "Je-su".

What is this supposed to mean? "Jesu" and "Jesus" both have exactly two syllables. The footnote attached to this sentence doesn't clearly explain the situation, either. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 05:19, 15 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure if this would be considered a name or title. I feel it might be worth including? Nikolaih☎️📖 22:45, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
