Non English References

edit

Citations to non-English reliable sources are allowed on the English Wikipedia. However, because this project is in English, English-language sources are preferred over non-English ones when they are available and of equal quality and relevance. References cited in other languages makes it difficult to verify for fact-checking and accuracy. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article. Many references in this article as on 09/08/2023 are in foreign language. Urdu or Arabic? Can't say!

Editors are encouraged to use easily verifiable sources as references. Anand2202 (talk) 08:34, 9 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
