editIt's also used, particularly on Fark, to signify that someone is suddenly being censored. I.E. their connection is suddenly severed by the powers that be. Superm401 - Talk 09:09, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Joke genre should get more coverage
editThere ought to be more coverage of the use in jokes. One of my favorites is related, and it just came up today:
Yip, yip, yip, yip, yip *BANG*
NO TERRIER
