NECAP vs. NE-CAP

edit

All usage on the page says NECAP, as does the RIDE website: http://www.ride.ri.gov/assessment/Results.aspx. Should this article be called NECAP, not NE-CAP? Greenth (talk) 17:29, 14 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

You are absolutely correct. 98.82.3.171 (talk) 03:09, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

NE-CAPNECAP — The four states which use the NECAP (New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, and now Maine) ALL refer to this as "NECAP" on their Ed Department websites, not "NE-CAP". Frankly, this is as ridiculous as someone choosing to name New York City's article New—York City. What more can you need to make this move? Well, how about the local newspapers in Rhode Island[1], New Hampshire[2], Vermont[3], and Maine[4]? None of them appear to have ever heard of this "NE-CAP", either. 98.82.3.171 (talk) 03:35, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
