Village Description
editThere seems to be some confusion over the size and description of the village and particularly it's harbour. Mullion has a small harbour, capable of sheltering a handful of small fishing boats (not trawlers) at the most. Currently there are about six small boats kept at the harbour. The harbour is nearly dry at low tide, and is not large or deep enough to receive ships at any state of the tide (therefore it is not classed as a 'port'). Mullion harbour is not, nor has it at any point in it's life been a cargo port! The harbour was built to shelter the local fishing boats, and is now owned by the National Trust.
As for the settlement itself, it has a parish (not town) council, does not have a mayor, no town hall, no market charter and no industry. Even ignoring those definitions, I don't think that anyone who has been to Mullion would be able to confuse it with a town!
Of course other people may disagree with me, in which case I'd be interested in seeing any further debate about it...

Due to 8 or 9 vandal edits and only 2 reversion, I am asking for WP:SEMI to prevent this from happening. An article can't be improved if WP:RCP people like me have to spend a lot of time reverting and warning VANDALS. As I wait reply, I will go trot over to some Talk pages and issues warnings for bad behavior. maybe go full WP:AIV on a couple if they have a bad rap sheet.L3X1 (talk) 22:10, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
