- Article new enough and long enough. All paragraphs are cited and neurally written, with no policy issues identified. The earwig noted similarities are with taxonomic names, so not an issue. Do we have a source for the "long distances"? the source just mentions sea dispersal. An extra source will be great. Nice looking article!--Kevmin § 19:57, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Kevmin: I have found a source covering long distance dispersal. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:01, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Cwmhiraeth: That does seem to cover the need quite well. Thank you!
- With the additional reference the nomination looks good to go. --Kevmin § 19:49, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Favourite with hummingbirds?
editThis statement is extremely doubtful - the ranges of M. gigantea and the hummingbirds do not overlap. Hummingbirds are restricted to the Americas, while the burny bean is found half a world away in the perimeters of the Indian Ocean. Junglenut |Talk 23:23, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
