Everything of value here is now also represented at Monte di Pietà, pending final article title. This may be made a redirect eventually. --Wetman (talk) 12:45, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

"mount of piety"

This English name is it ever used? It is misleading. I suggest keep it as "Monte di Pietà" - which as the second paragraph of the lede says, is what they are called - with a bracket notation of the translation into English. --142.163.194.7 (talk) 13:02, 20 March 2022 (UTC)

Use Italian

We should move to the Italian title rather than the awkward (home-made?) English translation. The Italian is normal in English - see the sources. Johnbod (talk) 20:11, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
