Moon Geun Young → Moon Geun-young – --- WP:NC(CN). In general, English media in South Korea avoid spelling names with every syllable separate and capitalised due to the potential for confusion over which is the surname and which is the given name; indeed, in this specific case, English sources cited in the article spells her given name with a hyphen as "Geun-young". A minority of English sources in Google News spell it run together as "Geunyoung". The only English sites spelling it as "Geun Young" are self-published sources such as blogs, fansites, and wikis (that I can't link to because they're on the spam filter). Can't move it myself because of an article existing at the target already. cab (call) 03:56, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

- Support New York Times uses this format for Korean names, so it must be pretty standard now. JoongAng Ilbo and Korea Herald both give the subject's name in the proposed form. Kauffner (talk) 06:52, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
